Summit is the compact world receiver of the Freeplay family with a unique sound quality and offers its user the choice of three power options: wind-up, solar, and mains power.
Even without sun, it can be powered by the internal generator by winding the handle. The energy is released on demand and converted to electricity, charging the battery. Just a short 30 second wind will give you 30 minutes of radio at normal volume.
The radio is equipped with a digital light display that shows the radio station selected, the time and when the alarm is set to go off. 30 broadcasting stations can be pre-programmed.
In addition, a 6 V AC/DC adapter is included for optional mains charging. After about 1 day of charging, the radio is fully charged and will play for about 20 hours.
